Located along the Boulevard that encircle the Dal Lake, the SKICC now bring to Srinagar all the Facilities of a modern conference venue. The country’s newest, and one of its most modern convention centers ,it is equipped to handle international conferences with ease and efficiency. This combines with the timeless splendours of Srinagar to bring to the convention delegates a host of opportunities that span from deliberations to sightseeing, gourmandizing, shopping and leisure activities.

Area & Facilities

> An Auditorium that descends in stepped fashion with delegate seating for 650 persons including two overhanging balconies to seat 100 each. A Press Gallery overlooks the auditorium. Facilities for simultaneous translation into five language and 35 mm/16 mm films projection. Back stage facilities includes two Green Rooms with separates entry for VIP’s to the dals Microphones may be shared one to two persons.

> Conference Hall with a seating capacity of 250 persons and provides for simultaneous interpretation in five languages; stacking sound proof partition into two area 16 mm films/slides/overhead projection.

> Two Meeting Hall with sliding (stack) sound proof partitions, and capacity 200 each.One Meeting Rooms with a capacity of 50. All this accommodation is combined to form a large Banquet Hall for 1200,with the facilities of a temporary stage to seat 1000 in auditorium style

> One Committee Rooms with a seating capacity of 70 and two Committee Rooms with a seating capacity of 40 each on the main floor.

> Elegant Lobby tastefully designed to make waiting a pleasure.

> A VIP Lounge and a Conference President’s Office with attached secretarial service.

> A Coffee Bar near the auditorium.

> Delegates registration and document distributes space for 1000 delegates.

> Adequate Exhibition Display Area with access from the Balcony.

> Necessary backup audiovisual equipment including 35 mm and 16 mm movie projectors, strip slides, overhead and arc slides projectors, electronic facilities, portable lecterns, slides boards, printing and duplicating machines, public announced system, recording and video-taping faculties on request.

> Support services including, Document Distributing, Reception, Ushering, Secretarial Services and a full office for the Convention Secretariat. Interpreters/Translators available on request.
